Hi all. I can't get the forend off my new to me defender. I have it all stripped except for the bolt and forend. I can strip my 870 no problems, but the defender is being a $%$#%#$!.

Am I missing something here?

Remove the trigger group by punching out the cross pin. Look on the bottom of the bold and you will see a small screw. Remove the screw and take off the bottom of the bolt held in by this screw. Now the fore end and action bar can be slid out the font and the bolt removed through the bottom of the receiver,
