I was wondering if anyone had actually visually compared the Midas line with the Cronus Line? Both in 10x42. I have been looking at online reviews of Athlon Binoculars, and many people rave about the Midas line, but Cronus is supposed to be their top-of-the -line binocular and I have not found much out there about it.

These would be used for deer hunting and general outdoor scenery glassing.

Is it worth spending the extra money for the Cronus line or is the Midas really not far behind it?

Thanks

The Midas is very close behind the Cronus in their binoculars. Depending on how acute your vision is you may or may see any realistic difference.

Doug, did you ever get a chance to compare the new Cronus bino/rf unit's optics with something you have in the shop? Curious how the optics rate.

It is irrelevant what you think. What matters is the TRUTH.

The optics are excellent. VERY bright, sharp to the edge

That was a steal! It appears they’re sold out.

Doug at camerland noted that he would match the price on those Steiners.
