Looking for a new Kimber Montana in 30-06. Gun broker only has a few and they’re pretty proud of them. Anyone know a good place to pick one up? Either online or in a shop that would be willing to ship?

I would second Whittaker’s.
Also this one in classifieds if you are open to used.

Maybe I’ll just have to suck it up and pay 1250-1300. There was one on gunbroker for $1099 buy now $30 shipping and no tax. Kicking myself for that one.

Do you have a local gun store?
One of the shops here gets a list of what Kimber has in stock / warehoused every few weeks. They order from that or, if need be, will order factory direct. They're roughly $300 below what Kimber suggests for retail. I think it'd be worth your time / effort to call a few of your local stores to see if anyone has a similar situation.

There’s only one local kimber dealer that I get to very often. I could do some calling. Quite a few shops around within a couple hours drive

Whittaker’s has them in stock. I think $1199. I was there yesterday and IIRC, they had a 30-06.
If we live long enough, we all have regrets. But the ones that nag at us the most are the ones in which we know we had a choice.

I’ll have to give them a call. They don’t show any kimber rifles on their website....that I can find.

We don’t have all of our Montana’s on the site. Building a new site, so I don’t have the guys putting on additional products.
On another note, most of you know they discontinued the 223 Montana. I met with them this week and they still had some parts. They’re building me a minimum of 25 for a last run. I’ll let you know more in the next few days.
I enjoy handguns and I really like shotguns,...but I love rifles!
