Anyone been to the Wilderness Hunting Lodge in Tennessee? I am thinking about taking my son there for a father son trip. I am wanting a Mouflon Ram hunt, and he is wanting a Corsican or a hog hunt. We may do a combo hunt. Looking for recommendations or any first hand knowledge of the lodge. Thanks for the input. Brett

We used to have the 24 Hour Campfire hog hunt there. Very nice facilities and staff but it's a large petting zoo as are most of those type places.

My hunting buddy and I were there for hogs about ten years ago, and the petting zoo analogy is pretty much spot on. I recall us walking past a bison in the open from about 20 yards without it reacting at all.
The staff and management are very co-operative and the facilities spotless, yet it all seemed too "sterile" to us.
We much preferred Caryonah Lodge.
