Are [bleep].

We've been seeing this dog and a black an brown one for the past 2 weeks.Someone dropped them off. It was in the 30's on Friday and this one of the pair showed up. I fed him and gave him a little love. He's a sweet dog and as I expected, he was there the next morning. Gave him more food and put him in the kennel. This is a pic of him at the animal shelter at noon the next day.

Haven't seen his running mate in a few days, I hope someone takes him in. I can't count the number of unclaimed stray dogs that have found their way here in the last 6 years, but we have kept 2, including one pregnant gal. People are [bleep].

Yea, not much pisses me off more than animal dumping or abuse. We live up on a hill not too far out of town, ours is the first road off the main road once you are about 1/2 mile up the mountain. That intersection has always been a main dumping spot for the scumbags dropping dogs and kittens. Can't tell you how many times I was on my way home in the middle of the night to see puppies or kittens scattering all over the road as I turned onto our road. Like you we were constantly taking animals to the SPCA or finding a home for them. I would like to catch someone doing it just once.

Cats more than dogs. We get the cats spayed for $50 at the low-cost nueter clinic and they fatten up and become 'barn cats'

Mother in law gets a 'new dog' about every 5 years. We split em up and take them in.

Been a little slow last couple of years.

2 hounds and 5 cats all rescues and last month some stupid bitch tried to give me a German Shepard puppy. Got no more room in what we like to call our Hard Luck Hotel.

We have tat here too, City people dump there dogs at the end of my road.

Nothing like a nice puppy rescue thread to calm the natives.
