Nothing special here, R700 in 308. I think R700's in 308 are quite special. Most especially hybrids. I have one just like it, different color.

In a moment of weakness I gave in and had an impulse buy. 6.5x300 Wby. Weakness? Looks like Turtle Power to me. Kowabunga!

I wasn't planning on this being my first fence post photo but I took this picture today after screwing on a 20" 6.5 PRC barrel yesterday. Rifle is a Kimber Montana 8400 WSM with a 6.5 PRC barrel. The suppressor is a SilencerCo Harvester and the weight as shown is 8lb 5oz. If the rifle shoots well I'll most likely swap out the Vortex for a 1" tubed Zeiss Conquest or similar.

The daughter was going out of town for a few days so dropped off her Ruger at the house... Before she left I asked her what her favorite color was..

This is my favorite 308 at this time. Walnut and steel and shoots better than it should. Set up with a Nightforce scope it weighs 8 lb 6 oz.

Marlin 336 in 44 magnum. I love this thing! I bought one in 1967 when I was in high school working part time. I gave it to my son and soon realized I needed another one. So when I saw this one for sale I grabbed it. It shoots just as good as my first one and it is a keeper.

This is one of my favorite iron sighted guns to hunt with. It has just recently returned home and is here to stay.
