What is your best? Buying Apple products, buying Microsoft products, not buying Benchmade? Is it ok to buy laundry soap from Dem supporting companies? Where is the line of what is ok to buy and what isn't ok to buy from companies that support Dem's?

As I asked above, the question devolves to options...

So you chose to do nothing at all?

.....or are you part of the secret brigade of internet warriors spreading freedom one pixel at a time, Mr. 32,000 posts?

People are free to choose as to who they want to vet, why, and to what degree. Do you disagree MontanaCreekHunter?

They certainly are! I would totally agree with that, but that isn't what I am asking.

Example: a Benchmade Knife and I'll go on the high end. $350.00. Maybe person X buys three in his lifetime. That is $1050.00 to Benchmade. Benchmade donates 10% of that to Dem's.

Clorox sells laundry detergent lets say $10 a box. Maybe person X buys 5 boxes a year and lives an adult life of say 60 years. That is $3000.00 to Clorox. Clorox donates 10% of that to Dem's.

Does this sink in at all?

They vote with their dollars for everything I am against. Not concerned about the gun destruction as it could be whatever but, the campaign finance stuff doesn't lie. They support all Dems and everything hangs in the balance in Oregon. When it tips it will be in part because of them.

No I didn't. I know what their high end knives cost. I am using an average person, not a collector. As such my pricing was on the high side. I own a Benchmade Prototype and a couple of limited edition collaborations.

Here's the real story:

The Oregon Police have since removed the post and put in its place an explanation of why the guns needed to be destroyed.

Good evening,
We understand some of our followers are upset with Benchmade knives because of a recent post we put out. The post did not give everyone the full story on why the guns were required to be destroyed.
We receive guns that are turned in from community members that they no longer want the guns and want them destroyed. We also have guns that are evidence and when a case is adjudicated the guns are ordered by the court to be destroyed.
These guns were required to be destroyed. We reached out to Benchmade to do us a favor at our request. Benchmade is a strong supporter of law enforcement and the Oregon City community. We were present when the guns were cut and we took them for final destruction.
We apologize for not informing everyone on the initial post. Benchmade is an excellent company and we urge everyone that had said they no longer support Benchmade to reconsider once they have all the information. Again, we apologize for not informing everyone with our recent post.
Respectfully,
Chief Jim Band and Mayor Dan Holladay

So what computer platform are you using to access the fire? They donate a hell of a lot more to Dem's and across the board far more of them. But you don't have a problem with that? Hmmm sounds hypocritical to me.

Yes that is the higher end of the Blue line their largest selling line. Or as I was told on my tour of the factory. Can you prove otherwise?

I don't need to prove a damn thing. Google it for yourself. I just did and saw BM knives at or near $700.
If you want to divide their offerings into this or that line, you've lost my interest.

I'm not a fan of BM. I've never spent My money supporting them. That's on you

It isn't about Benchmade or supporting them. It is the fact that you are being a hypocrite about the whole thing. You buy more products they you know from companies that support Dem's and Anti gun and Hunting. So you say Benchmade is different than all the other companies you support? Really??????? How does that make any sense?
