Maybe we arent as large of their customer base as we think..... just a question really on my part. They seem to be a successful business so I am sceptical of their stupidity. But companies have made bigger pr & marketing blunders for sure , so possible they are fck’d up.

I should be better about vetting company politics - I'm far from the first guy to jump on the boycott wagon. However, when a company overtly and without fear cuts up guns on freakin' Facebook I enthusiastically draw the line.

Yep, I use Apple products and for my needs there is no suitable alternative, but Apple wouldn't have to go nearly as far as cutting up guns on the internet for me to cut the cord.

I've wondered about that myself. They are also sold in a lot of hiking/kayaking/etc. type stores, as well as huge online retailers like knifecenter.com. I'm sure fudds also buy a lot. I'm not sure how big their really pro 2A base is. Just like I was surprised years ago by an optics repair business owner who told me that the biggest market for high end binos was birdwatchers. I would have thought it was hunters.

This is where I am at. At a bare minimum, I can vote with my dollars for those companies and organizations that support me and my beliefs. That obviously is NOT Benchmade... As far as their FB response, B.S. ... Even in the backwoods of Kentucky, a 4" grinder and a cutting torch have never been known as "specialized tools".
