I’ve had:
7mm-08 Rem .284 Win 7mm Rem Mag 7mm Wby Mag
Liked them all well enough, and would still have a .284 Win if I had more time on my hands.
The 7mm Roy has the distinction of being the largest cartridge I’ve used that the recoil didn’t seem to effect my accuracy or ability to shoot from any field position.
I’d love to someday have a .280 AI and I probably will if it gains more traction commercially.
I’ve also said and still believe that the 7mm SAUM could be the perfect foot hunter’s cartridge.
What could be a sadder way to end a life than to die having never hunted with great dogs, good friends and your family?

I forgot, I have a 7mm-08 I made for eastern whitetail hunting.. Since I don't go that route anymore, I just shoot waterfilled jugs, and a few p. dogs with it...

I have a Ruger African in 275 Rigby!!! Used to have: 2 different 7x57 Ruger's, one a 200th year; I know...... A 77 tanger in 280 Rem. A Mod 70 XTR 7mm-08 A BLR in 284, wish I could find another I can afford A Schultz & Larson M 63 in 7x61 Sharpe & Hart, should have kept this one also! A #1 in 275 Rigby, it might come home some day..... I remember a certain 98 in 280 Rem that is missing from your list. I’ve had: A Mauser 98 in 280 Rem Boat Paddle Ruger 77 in 7mm Rem Mag Ruger No. 1 7mm Rem mag Ruger 77 MK II 7mm Rem mag Kimber MT 280 AI Ruger No. 1 275 Rigby I regret letting the 98 280 go and almost feel guilty about how much I like the Montana 280 AI

I've never had a 7 or a 270 (except for action) but my wife has a Savage 284 that she uses occasionally. I can't think of a reason why I haven't?
I tend to use more than enough gun

Very impressive RBO.
If you are still on--what scope is that?

7-08 280 Remington 280AI Wouldn’t really consider that being a “slut” but it’s what I have primarily used for some time with the occasional 30-06 in the past a a 6.5 Creedmoor as of late. Hard to beat a well loaded 7 for hunting.
Keep your powder dry and stay frosty my friends.
