seattlesetters Campfire Regular Joined: May 2009 Posts: 2,262 PNW	I’ve had: 7mm-08 Rem .284 Win 7mm Rem Mag 7mm Wby Mag Liked them all well enough, and would still have a .284 Win if I had more time on my hands. The 7mm Roy has the distinction of being the largest cartridge I’ve used that the recoil didn’t seem to effect my accuracy or ability to shoot from any field position. I’d love to someday have a .280 AI and I probably will if it gains more traction commercially. I’ve also said and still believe that the 7mm SAUM could be the perfect foot hunter’s cartridge. What could be a sadder way to end a life than to die having never hunted with great dogs, good friends and your family?

Hard to beat a well loaded 7 for hunting. Keep your powder dry and stay frosty my friends.
