As to Benchmade's political contributions, I don't know who they gave money to. It just said democrats on the link I saw here. May have been business driven, curry favor with local Dems that set policy that can affect them.

Hell, even Trump gave buckets of money to the likes of Coumo and ol' Charlie Rangell, far more than what is listed for Benchmade, simply because of the amount of business he does in NY.

I've never had a Benchmade, that I can recall anyway. Don't have any now and honestly wouldn't go out o my way to get one. I'm sure they are sorely regretting letting the OCPD use their shop.

I have they make a good knife at a good price point. They have done some stellar collaborations with some of the biggest names in knives. They give discounts to military, police, fire, etc. I'll continue to buy when they have something that fits my needs. I can't throw stones, I have a MacBookPro, iPhone, and iPad. Somewhere I still have one of those ones that just holds music, can't remember what the hell they were called. iSomething.
