I was wondering if any of you have a black ops recon 9? Got one back when they came out but sold it before I got to shoot it and they have been on my mind lately. Any known issues? Worth trying to find one or should I just find another 2011?

They actually named a gun something that stupid?

Yeah they did. It does sound like something a 45 year old who lives with his mom made up. 2011 pistol. 18+1. All match grade parts. Itching to find one.

Not that one specifically, but a Para 1911 double stack .45 P12. I ordered a nice set of rosewood grips for it and being as thin as they were for that double stack, I split one of them right down the middle the first time out. The grip screws are/were not standard 1911 issue when the Paras were made in Canada and I stripped one of those and had to have a new one made.
My other auto is a .45
The bitterness of poor quality is remembered long after the sweetness of low price has faded from memory

Yeah I figured there had to be some funky stuff that wouldn't be standard on them. I've heard the double stack .45 were pretty good to go failure and stoppage wise though. I should have never sold the one I had. Seems they are drying up and I'm having a difficult time finding one.
