I killed an elk this winter with the 165 gr, 7mm GameChanger. Broadside shot, 80 or 100 yards, entrance and exit.

Editing to add: The February issue of Handloader Magazine's article is penned by Rick Jamison. Excellent article, appears on page 10, Practical Handloading.
I also called Sierra in August when the bullets came out to identify if they considered the 165 grain 7 mm bullet an elk bullet when launched from a 7 Mashburn. The tech I talked with said they designed the 165 gr 7mm bullet for the 7 Rem Mag and it's a tough bullet. I don't know the definition of "tough" with regard to my perception / his perception. But it killed the elk I shot with it.
