Sorry to bust your bubble Stick but a 107 isn't Heavy Lift. A CH46's Squadron designation was HMM, which stood for Helicopter Marine Medium. As in Medium Lift. A CH53D, E, and K are designated HMH. As in Helicopter Marine Heavy. As in Heavy Lift. My last float as a composite squadron pretty much all the CH46's did was Milk and Mail runs. They at that time could only carry 16 pax if I remember correctly.

I worked under a helicopter building power lines across Chickaloon flats in Alaska till it crashed killing four linermen. Pretty sure they didn't have your class of maintaince.

CH53D is 13K and yet faster than the 107 and longer range of operation.
