Who in the Heavy Lift Community,do you see obtaining 53's?.................. I told you HTS has one Delta Weren't the query. Slow down and read it again. Hint............. Possibly HTS, Erickson, FireHawk (thought not really in their scope but a possible), and Columbia. I think those are the only players big enough. Though not sure any of them want to get into it at this point in time. I could be wrong. It will cost a lot to put together a 53 program at this time, when they are already setup in other platforms. The ROI is too far out for the beancounters likings.

Took you a while to see the light.
Hint.

No damn clue about the lift of either the 46 or 53 but I’ve slid a bunch of ropes and jumped them and the 22 a bunch. The 46 was a great fast rope bird though. Where as the 53’s put a lot more draft on us on the deck. I salute them all as they’ve done good work for us over the years. I think all of the Marine 46’s went to the Navy didn’t they MCH?
I’ve got a picture of us sliding a hellacious long rope onto GOPLAT Edith in the Pacific around 2001-2002. Great memories.
Carry on gents!
They are at the Boneyard. I’ve got some good Memorial pics from the 46 that turned over near Pt Loma in 1999 when I was on the 15th. Sad darned day. Myself and Baca had just went to Airborne together in the fall of 98. Big peacetime loss.

Laughing!................. It would be very profitable but again not today or tomorrow. It's a long term investment, as was the 46, and sky crane when adopted.

Timber isn't worth anything, but Oil has the jingle...though the 53 won't scratch that itch. Again due dollars and cents. Hint..................

There are better platforms for Oil and Sikorsky has that nailed.
