I've already got a 22-250 (1:12 Hart) on a 700sa, it's great for squirrels inside 3. But I'm in Comifornia and want a light shooting blacktail rifle and am relegated to monos. I'm sure a 1:8 would fit the bill too. If I were building from scratch and choosing an action, then yah, a short action would fit the bill. But I'm not putting a Creed on a 3.3" action.

Maybe a 22-8Gibbs would fit the bill! I'd throw a real barrel on the 700 '250 and go 8" 224 Kreedmire there,at no more than 23"...then trip the Mouser to an unsuspecting boob.................(grin) Neah, keeping all my schit. Which mono? What ever TF shoots! Barnes first, then Nosler or Horny. TTSX are far more common on shelves around here. But big Brown and all the others can find my addie. What stock for the Mouser? One rifle set up right,trumps a herd that ain't. Hint...............

Stock? Slovenia or Turk military at the moment. I've got two from which to choose.
Not much in lightweight to choose from with '98 actions.
Not going to put a Porsche budget on a Pinto build. Will most likely get a B&C.

900yds is a sub 5 Mil correction(4.8) ala 224 Kreedmire and a 88...which ain't much correction,nor very far.
Less than halfa fhuqking reticle.
