You can’t hardly cook them too slow. Brushing them occasionally with a good marinade keeps them from drying out so bad.

Anybody can fix good pork ribs.....beef and deer ribs take talent and patience.

Ate at Jack Stacks many times. They are very good. They aren't the best in Kansas City though. Lots of competition up there anymore.

I like both.

Pork is definitely easier to get right though.

Beef if you are from TX and pork if you are from the Southeast. I have had both beef and pork ribs that were wonderful.

The Texas Road House is mostly a steak place. But their ribs are great!

I like beef. Never had beef ribs.

But sorry folks, especially you Texas fellows, REAL BBQ is pork, and it's cooked low and slow over a wood fired pit. Not gas, not electric, not in an oven, not warmed up from the grocery store.

I do like brisket, and I have eaten it in Texas. I like chicken cooked on a barbeque pit, and I like mutton. But the real thing is pork.
