Cold for Oklahoma today. We had beef vegetable soup with grilled cheese sandwiches made with homemade bread. DELICIOUS.

Some tri-tip, grilled asparagus, and some caprese salad. Gotta cut it up with the knife I made, of course.

Add a spoonful of the starchy pasta water to the sauce & pour over pasta.

Add cracked pepper & "zested" parmesan cheese.

My family like it hot !

What is zested parm?

Fresh parm, grated with a zesting tool, you tool !

Charles roast, real baked potatoes from the Friar's Heir, some frozen corn, and a really great tossed salad.

I spatchcocked a home-grown chicken on the gas grill. Had a couple sardine cans of miss cutie wood on the fire too. Did. Not. Suck. smile

Went over to the local BBQ place and got some pork, some burgoo, and wifey made potato salad and slaw. The only thing missing was cornbread. For those that don't know, burgoo is very similar to Brunswick stew....only better.
