I've had my azz kicked and chewed by an ~ 7 pound housecat - and have NO intention of trying out a 30+ pound feline - thank you very much!
Guns were created for multiple problem solution, in my book!

I've always been a curmudgeon - now I'm an old curmudgeon.

A big boar coon, yes they are super tough, my buddies pit bull got into it with one in a fenced yard and neither one could get out, the dog finally killed this coon, but not before being torn apart himself. Several months later another coon entered the yard and the dog let him escape with out the death match, smart dog.

Also knew a kid who picked up a baby cotton tail rabbit, it started squealing like crazy and bit him on the hand. He dropped it quick and it took off like a rocket. A friend of mines dad walked up to a white tail doe he had shot and as he got ready to field dress it, it gave one last kick and got him in the arm, left a nice bruise and he said he could only imagine getting kicked by a live deer.
