No experience with wild cats and I’m sure they are a handful and fight way beyond their size but domestic cats? Never seen a feral cat a good dog couldn’t handle with a shake or 2. Put up about as much of a fight as a possum once their hissing and bullshit bluffing doesn’t work. A big boar coon is a much more formidable opponent.
A big boar coon, yes they are super tough, my buddies pit bull got into it with one in a fenced yard and neither one could get out, the dog finally killed this coon, but not before being torn apart himself. Several months later another coon entered the yard and the dog let him escape with out the death match, smart dog.
