Beef stk. tonight, not sure how the step daughter will prepare it, but it will be excellent... And she was kind enough to take last years elk meat out of the freezer and use it herself... This lady can't be beat...

Rather chilly here (by Texas Hill Country standards) at 30 and dropping so the fire is lit and my wife is making potato leak soup.

Home made chicken, vege & wild rice blend soup. Green onions on top & 5 good splashes of tabasco in mine. Delicious.

Copied two Kent Rollins recipes for dinner last night. “Double dipped” chicken fried steak with white gravyalso made bread pudding with whiskey cream sauce. Both worth making again!

I had an egg, spinach, and cottage cheese crustless quiche concoction for dinner and fried bologna and eggs for breakfast. I'm also a bachelor.
