She said that Ruger put the wrong part in the rifle and to not shoot it and send it back. They are sending me a shipping box. There is supposed to be a three day turnaround. My dealer lost my phone number so Ruger was calling people with my name in my state trying to find me. I have the utmost respect for Ruger. My dad bought a lefty m77 270 win new in 92. The headspacing was to tight to load a round so he sent it back. Ruger fixed it right away. Since then that rifle has had no more problems only success in the field being my dad's do all rifle. Just tried calling there customer service to get a better explanation on what is going on found out they are closed till tomorrow. I received a prepaid postage and shipping instructions to Ruger's address through email from Ruger. SU35 PM sent

The reason I was given was that they may have assembled some rifles with a part that’s not up to Ruger’s specifications. Call or email and give them your serial number. That was the number left in the voicemail and who I delt with. 603-865-2442 is the number that originally called me which after looking up is listed as Ruger's.
