People who are 21 do not know about voting. Kids certainly do not. Democrats running out of voters and they need more. that's all this is about ! They're not running out of voters, they get more and more every day. What it is is them trying to stack the odds to the point that no Republican will ever win another election in this country. The house just passed a bill to give illegals, voting rights. Just watching and noting what tops the dhims' priority list is truly doctoral thesis material.

I'd support raising the voting age to 65. I'd support returning it to the original format. Landowners being the only ones allowed to vote, whatever age they may be. Yeah, lot less problems that way.

They want the age to purchase firearms increased from 18 to 21 because they're not responsible enough, but want the voting age lowered to 16 because they're responsible. Makes my head spin and my blood boil.

I just did a Google search for "The best idea for voting age", and the top ten responses came back as "Why 16 should be the legal voting age", or something very close to that. And Google continues to insist they do not manipulate what responses you see. All of the Social medium forums are skewed to the far left, and run by the far left.

Several states have or are in the process of raising the legal age to smoke from 18/19 to 21, Oregon being one.

Can't have a beer, can't buy a car, can't own a firearm, can't drive a commercial vehicle across state lines, can't have a bank account (without a guardian), can't mow lawns with a power mower....

This voting thing could all be solved by passing legislation that only American Citizens, who pay income tax, can vote. If one chooses to remain on the government tit, you can't vote.

We need to go back to having to pay property taxes to get a vote. That would make it easy for sure but there are conservatives and productive people in apartments/condos. I'd be thrilled if they just quit letting welfare recipients vote!
