I bought a Christensen Mesa a couple of months ago and have really loved the performance so far. Has anyone else enjoyed using one and have any pictures of their kills with it? What’s your favorite ammo with it? Also, quite few people have asked me about the barrel twist rate which I have not been able to find. Does anyone know what it is?

I bought a Mesa last summer in 6.5 creedmore, shot dimes with it and my brother wanted it more. He shot a 3 point with it in Bama, he doesn't take pictures of dinks. It shot anything we bought in Walmart fine or better then fine.

I have a Mesa in 6.5 Creedmoor. If look on the barrel it says 1:8 on it. If you have another caliber then I"m not sure.

Buck,

I purchased one this past month and have been breaking it in. I mounted a Sig Whiskey 3 BDX scope on it and took it to my lease this past weekend in west Texas. While sighting it in at the range last week, I was getting about. .5 MOA with the Hornady 147 ELD-Match ammo. I switched to the 143 ELD-X ammo and I'm getting about the same MOA. At the lease I used the BDX system and ranged a large boulder at 660 yards from the back porch of the camphouse. The first two shots were high by about 2 feet. I compensated a little and nailed it the 3rd shot.

It's an awesome rifle! Mine is in 6.5 PRC and has a 1:8 twist. As others have said, it's engraved on the side of the barrel.

The lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part!
