I'm building a 260 ai for long range varmints and am curious who else is using something similar out there. Let's hear the rigs, loads, and performance!

I prefer the 108 Scenar out of my 260 AI. I have a reamer made up which works well with that bullet. Typical 3-shot groups out of my Rebarreled Rem Mountain rifle is about 1.5" with the 108s. I can push them to 3300 so they work well. Might not be the best bullet for 1000 yards but nothing better out to 500 that I have found.

I’ve shot a few pigs with 140 Ballistic tips. I think the 120 Barnes are better!

Using 140's and IMR 4350 (don't remember bullet brand) in a 6.5x55 Swede with the 100+ year old military barrel. Absolutely shoots bug hole groups. It was supposed to be a truck gun, but it now resides in the safe.

1minute yeah my Swede lives in the safe now too. Thanks for the posts, some good info there. Has anyone tried the 95gr VMAX or 147gr ELDM's, I was thinking of trying those bullets.
