I've got a M595 LH in 223. I had it on a couple of the hog hunts, you may have seen it. I missed the last 2 years. I'm headed over to SW MO on a shotgun fun shoot in a couple of weeks. We could a face to face if your interested. Bob

They made the LH T3 and the new T3x in .223, both in the Lite Stainless model.
Be watchful if you want a specific twist rate. The LH T3 started with 1:12, then they went to 1:8. They stopped production for a spell, I remember I couldn't find one for several months, then the next batch they made had an in between 1:10 - didn't know that until the one I ordered showed up. Like southpawhunter, mine shoots lights out with 50 and 55 grain bullets, like three shot groups in the .2's, but I haven't tried anything longer yet.
The Tikka website shows the new T3x as coming with two different twists - 1:12 and 1:8, and most dealers don't know that or don't bother to mention which one they might sell you.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!

Still able to get a T3X in 8" twist or was an older limited run? Was there ever a run of 22-250 in 8" or that was RH only from Whittakers?
Please God, give me some good tags this year....

I have a LH & RH 22-250 in the 8'' twist barrel. Bought the RH for my wife. She still hasn't shot it.

I have a LH T3x in 223 with 1:8 twist. Had the barrel trimmed to 19.5 inches, fluted and threaded for suppressor. Also spiral fluted the bolt. Will add carbon fibre stock at some point. It's my first LH bolt in well over 30 years of shooting and I am loving it. So far have shot 50, 55 and 60 bullets in it, all factory fodder but am looking forward to reloading for it. Very happy with purchase.
