Steel or brass cases?
If steel cases, just gather up some and set them out where outside air can get to them, then inspect the inside of the case.
Those box labels have already lied to you once. There's no such thing as "ball ammo made to hunting specifications" in my opinion. Any ball ammo shouldn't be used for hunting. Nothing of any size anyway.

Look at the inside of the gas tube. That should work.

Now I'm wondering if H03 means it was made in 2003. I know I was buying Russian 7.62x39 throughout the 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s. Not exactly sure now when I bought these. I still have some from the 1980s somewhere, but they are in blue boxes, whereas these are natural cardboard color. My guess is the "H03" is most likely the lot number rather than the year of manufacture.

If you look closely, the bullet is a 123gr Hollow Point, making it a "hunting" bullet. Of course a steel jacketed hollow point performs much like an FMJ.
You didn't use logic or reason to get into this opinion, I cannot use logic or reason to get you out of it.

When we were all buying cheap SKSs and cheap ammo twenty-five or thirty years ago, some of the ammo was advertised as "mildly corrosive". A friend shot some of this stuff and waited about three days to clean the bore. There was already evidence of minor pitting. Hoppe's or anything else is fine for corrosive as long as you use something water-based first.

Fire off a few rounds, and don't clean, and let the rifle set for a few days. Run a patch down the bore and see if there is any rust on it. Good test, and not likely to cause any real harm if immediately dealt with. Although, all my 7.62x39 guns have chrome lined barrels. Wouldn't this delay rusting quite a bit? Yes the chrome is there as much for corrosion protection as anything as I was told. I did torture tests on a Chinese sks including a lot of Yugo corrosive ammo which that was printed in big bold print right on the box in big bold letters. It gobbled them up without complaint and I couldn't see any issues

Radom, hammer forged, chrome lined, barrel, for sure. I don't know when the bolt carrier was made. Standard Polish AKM recoil system.
