Am I correct in my understanding that I can no longer only apply for a preference point, that I must apply for a specific hunt? If that's correct, will someone steer me towards a very sought after unit that I have a low chance of drawing (and if I do draw, I'll have a good chance at a nice mule deer?) I think that I have 12 points and would prefer to accumulate another one this year because my 2019 is pretty busy already. Thanks for any insight.

You can apply, but must buy a NR small game license before you do , $80, and application fee is now $9 . I think you have to buy a Habitat Stamp too, $10

You can apply, but must buy a NR small game license before you do , $80, and application fee is now $9 . I think you have to buy a Habitat Stamp too, $10 A $10 habitat stamp will be applied to the small game license. Plus Sheep, Goat, and Moose apps are now $100 each for non-res for PP. Even though the OP is really only asking about deer, others might want to know.
