When i bought it someone had hot blued it so i had it rust blued. I think it looks really good. Tell us how you did the wood. There used to be threads on this forum about the restoration work of members. Lately that subject has focused mostly on woodwork, but it would be interesting to see and hear the tale being told of the whole nine yards. To me, your G is the perfect platform for the Lyman and Marbles tang sights. And you got the cool one that moves for windage. Turnbull is the top end but I always thought his work never looked like original Savage.
