Hey everyone,

Just wanted to clarify what powdr and Judman were talking about. We do offer a very light (9.3oz) 4 power, the FX-II 4x33mm. Part number is 58550. Take a look, it's a long time favorite around here. Whatever you pick, enjoy!

The FX-II 4x33mm is the scope I have settled on. I have hunted for 40 years with a Leupold 4X and never had any complaints. Thanks to you folks for your inputs...blessings.

Always had a thing for the Leupold M8’s. IMHO they are classic scopes and look perfect on just about any gun. Much harder to find than they used to be.

Another vote for the old M8 long tube, a good view and flexible mounting options especially when using a short stock like a youth model rifle.

I have a Kaps 4x that I have mounted on my CZ 550 .375 H&H. 30 MM tube, low profile turrets and not too big on the objective and ocular bells, positive adjustments, and very clear glass. Wish I had more. Better than the Leupold FX 4 and the Zeiss Diatal C 4x that I have on other rifles.

Might have to try one of those.

My future hopefully sees a 375 Ruger with this on top.

Let us know what you end up with.

Keep us posted on your adventures with this. I've looked at that one for a long time. If I had an illuminated reticle, I'd be all over it.
