As reported by the Washington Free Beacon: “The government of Finland collapsed Friday due to the rising cost of universal health care and the prime minister’s failure to enact reforms to the system. Prime Minister Juha Sipila and the rest of the cabinet resigned after the governing coalition failed to pass reforms in parliament to the country’s regional government and health services, the Wall Street Journal reports. Finland faces an aging population, with around 26 percent of its citizens expected to be over 65 by the year 2030, an increase of 5 percent from today. Sipila’s reforms “intended to remove power from the 295 municipalities that currently oversee health and social care, and place responsibility within a leaner, more efficient system of 18 elected regional authorities,” according to the Journal. ...

Socialism is also failing in Venezuela, no surprise except that it is an extremely rich oil producing country with a relatively small population and even they ran out of others money....

Finland has 5.5 million people with few third world refugees and they couldn't afford it.

If socialism takes hold here the collapse will be fast and spectacular.......

No but it is a bad example of capitalism. They take your credit card number and send you your “Free 1 months supply” and then they charge you each month even if you cancel. It’s a scam, it’s a lie, it’s deceptive but it’s not socialism.

“Free” isn’t the same as socialism, it’s a marketing ploy in a capitalist system.

You may be perturbed, but judging by the campfire many here aren't even put out enough to cancel cable tv, i.e. (CNN) or quit watching pro sports etc..... they like the bread and circuses.
Now keep in mind this site consist of gun lovers. The average Joe could care less.....
