I carry a Taurus TCP .380, in cheap holster in my front pocket, recently I noticed my pants stink from the sweat build up on the holster never mind the fact the end is duck taped together made me think maybe it's time for replacement,

Any Suggestions.

I have carried the same pistol for a couple of years. I use a Remora holster and have not had any troubles.

Alabama holster. Kydex with thumb break. Curved to your thigh so it doesn't print. Kydex won't smell or wear out. IMHO the trigger is safer too. Highly recommend.

I use a Desantis Nemesis with S&W J and a Ruger SP101. It sticks in the pocket, and doesn't come out on the draw.

I used an uncle mike for 10 years. A year ago switched to a kydex. I like it better, the retention and rigid covering of the trigger is a safety improvement. P3AT.

I've used a DeSantis G3 with a Ruger LCP. Works well and fairly inexpensive. I have a Kramer horsehide for J-frames. It's a nice holster.

I've used a DeSantis Nemesis for my LCP for a couple of years, pretty happy with it. Just looked and there is almost no wear on it.

I have a Remora for the CW9 which could work for a pocket holster, but really the pistol is too big for such use.

This is pretty much THE pocket holster to have.

It's cheap
It lasts
It stays in the pocket
It protects the gun from sweat as much as reasonable
It doesn't reform to the gun like a leather holster if it gets wet
It's material does a good job hiding the outline of a gun
The gun slides out easy

I've probably been carrying one for ten years... daily... I've replaced once at $20... and still keep the old one as a spare.

Oh, I carry a blued Taurus 605 in .357 Magnum or a S&W 642 in it. Mostly the Taurus. Despite the reputation, that revolver has just worked for me. Plenty of power in the woods and anywhere else. The steel frame takes some of the abuse out of the .357 in such a small gun.

Stinky pants might not be the holster's fault.

I was thinking that, but was trying to be politer. I have several Remora holsters, always use them as a pocket holster, and they work great.

Galco horsehide if available. Used one for many years on a KelTec 32. Conforms great!

Reviews look pretty good, and they do make one for my pistol. Might pick one of those up.

the only real difference between a good tracker and a bad tracker, is observation. all the same data is present for both. The rest, is understanding what you're seeing.
