Hi Everyone, Thanks for the help in advance.
I'm looking for a "firing pin" for a Model 1914 Octagon barrel Pump 22, tube load.
ser. # 46XXX OR where can I get some kind of diagram that I can take to a gunsmith
to have one made. My search for a "like rifle" in lesser condition has been fruitless.
I'm in the northern "burbs" of the Detroit area, if you know of someone/somewhere
close to me.
Is there any printed material with diagrams, showing the assembly of this rifle?

There is a diagram at "savageparts.com" but I doubt that it is good enough to make parts from. I would leave a PM for "Phil". He has a gun shop on the West coast and deals in Savage .22 parts. I think he might have gone South for a while but he should have your part.

Rick, Thanks for the info on Phil. I also got a note from a guy right here in Mich. who has a "like" rifle. He's close by. Going to go that way first, then drop a line to Phil, if it doesn't pan out. DaleJ
