Sorry should have said 500-1000 range. I’ve never even heard of the athalon scopes

If your buying new, then Athlon is your best bet in the under $1k range of optics with both illumination and zero stops. If your buying used, you can find Bushnell LRHS/LRTS series in the under $1K range. Search E-Bay for used or the classifieds here.
