I am lucky and have a 25-06 in one and several 300 win mags and one 338 win Just looking for the 270 weatherby. I think they only made it one year in 1993

they exist, I bought one for my dad. he has a browning bar collection. he has all the oddballs... 270 wby 280 rem, 243 and 308s with bosses, I asked a browning rep at a nra show once about the 280 and 270 wby and he told me that despite what the books say, they were produced for less than 3 months and less than 1000 of each caliber were out there, who knows if he was right but good luck on your search

I bought one a couple of years ago. Around that time there were 3 up for sale on various web sites. Prices were 700 and up. Have not seen any since. Good luck in your search. Mine shoots 140 gr and 150 gr ammo at about an inch. Hates 130 stuff Great gun for follow up shots.

the 270 weatherby my dad has doesn't like the 130 weatherby stuff either, when he got it he bought 8 boxes of federal premium 140s with accubonds and the gun loves em. 3 shot clover leafs at 100yds are the norm. shame federal doesn't make that ammo anymore it is good stuff

I have a classic stainless model 70 and a classic sporter model 70 (both control round feed guns ) and I just love the caliber. Appreciate the info on the bar not liking 130gr ammo though. Wasn't aware of that
