I am in the process of restoring to factory a complete action I recently picked up. I am in search of a few items and I always check the boards first.
Looking for all original, 1950 parts (or close to that). No reproductions. The action is a complete 1950 M70 Standard Model in 30-06. Transitional Type 3, Tapered Tang. PM me with what you might have and a price of the following:
-Complete Trigger Group -Trigger Hanger Bolt (if not in a group) -Standard Rifle Walnut Stock (low comb) -Rear Folding Sight or Standard -Front sight hood -Weaver Pivoting/Tip over scope mount and matching weaver rings -Original Leather Sling -Set of Sling Swivels and mounts
I have the rest of the parts including the barrel. I also have a Canjar trigger I can throw in on trade if anyone is interested in one.

Welcome to the 'Fire! What in the world is a "WindSurgeon"? Ha. I do a lot of long range shooting in F-class and that was the name I chose on a more specific to that sport website. Reading the wind and changing shot placement is a skill.

Thanks. All over that one already. I always check the boards first and like to buy from members.

What width sling swivels are you looking for? Phil Either the 1" or 1.25" are both fine so long as they came off a late 40's, early 50's rifle. Let me know what you have via PM. Thanks

PM's sent. Also found the rings and mounts from a member here, so that's off the list now.
