You’ve littered almost every sub forum on the Fire with posts that have either been completely ignored by all members except you talking back at yourself. Or, you get berated by a few members, and again nothing positive comes outta the exchange.

I read a few members make an attempt at explaining the difficulty members have decoding the style in which you write. You take offense at that as well...

One of my first long posts, I didn’t use any paragraphs. Being new to this site, several members took me apart for the lack of my posts readability...I had to agree and made changes to the way I write my posts, makes it easier for others to understand.

Just a suggestion since you’re posting a lot, and you obviously want members to reply without degrading you and your written word.

Maybe take a little more of your time and write without members needing a secret decoder ring to understand what your saying.

I’m sure you noticed I haven’t attacked you. Called you any bad names or inferred that you’re an idiot or troll...Just thought I’d offer a suggestion to improve your probability of members replying to your posts so you won’t have to talk to yourself...😎

Ranting "speaks" like a computer with Tourette syndrome attempting to pass the Turing test. The constant quoting, with inappropriate punctuation, and poor syntax, I doubt he is a real doofus. I'm thinking he is is an artificial doofus.
(Now for the useless quoting, and the inappropriate punctuation. Watch for it.... wink )

Agreed, just a troll looking to stir the pot and aggravate people who are looking for serious discussion.

Seems like Kawi
Except Kawi usually had a point.

Or maybe he always had a point and sometimes I missed it

I'd have no qualms about having just a .17 HMR for survival. I've generally found them to be more accurate than 22 mags so I would use one to it's strengths which I feel is pinpoint accuracy.

I'd take a 12ga. Shotgun over either choice offered, any day of the week. It will kill anything I aim it at, has more ammo options available, can shoot slug, shot, or even flares, and simpler to clean.
And if you can't speak proper english, with at least an attempt at proper punctuation, and syntax, I'm not going to bother with you beyond this point. Your childlike texting like half speech is annoying.

Congratulations, you just made my ignore list, and that takes some really stupid chit. Even deflave and Big Stick are not on it. I've never had anyone on ignore before, you're the first, the one, and the only resident.

Guess you don't plan on needing to survive for very long ? How many 12 gauge shells you figure you can carry ? A loaded .22 mag. is a fugg of alot better survival tool than an empty 12 gauge.

You are assuming no access to reloading equipment of any kind, and no supplies but what you carry. I'm not. I assuming a simple base, and few new materials available. Different scenarios. Hulls can be reloaded with simple tools, and a variety of powders and shot (including casting my own.) I have molds for miniballs, and sinkers, now, and about 300lbs of cleaned soft lead.
I look at this question as "the stores have closed up, and you are on your own. You have one weapon to defend and eat with. Choose." Other than a true muzzleloader, and making your own gun powder, and mining your own lead, I see a shotgun as the simplest to reload, with the least precision needed.

Well if I'm gonna be home I've got a whole goddam arsenal at my disposal and enough reloading components to last a lifetime. Why the hell would I choose just one gun/cartridge under those circumstances ?

Like I said, stupid question isn't it?
Why would I be afield for an unknown duration, and have a strong fear of human contact that would forbid reloading as an option? I have not been airdropped onto a deserted island, and I can bloody well build a raft and sail. wink

I lean towards the 22 mag since I own one and compliment it with a Ruger single six with the 22 mag cylinder in place. but either would due for me. I would just want to have a durable rifle and a lot of ammo.
