I just bought a 99 that came with a set of Weaver bases and rings. They were not installed on the rifle. It’s obvious which is the front base and which is the rear base, but there are three different length of mounting screws. Two very short ones, one medium length one, and a longer one. Can anyone help me out with which length base screw goes where?

Stick them thru the bases until they all protrude out the bottom evenly, then they're in the right locations.

I have been using the Burris rings and Weaver bases. They look pretty good. The Burris rings were helpful on the 358, had to use offset inserts.
