I do have a lid off a Vollrath chicken fryer, some day I might find the rest of it for a decent price and complete it.

(among others) I totally agree. I bought a new Lodge piece a few months ago and the bottom cooking surface was like gator-skin. I took it back Slaves get what they need. Free men get what they want. I used Bacon instead of the Smoked Shanks I've been using the last 15yrs or so and made Biscuits instead of the traditional Cornbread so it was like rediscovering the Pinto Bean......delicious!
