I normally refrain from these kinda comments. But am I the only one here who doesn’t really care for hornadys’ products?
Idk what did it for me. The zombie BS , the fueled by hornady stickers, their reloading components, the creedmoor craze....
Same here. What they call new technology really isn't. And, they often copy competitors with inferior products. They really fugged up the 450 Bushmaster ammo with that FTX load. Accuracy means nothing if it is a bullet that can't hold together. The negative reviews are countless. I would respectfully disagree with that statement. With high BC bullets I can load my 6.5 swede to recoil more like a 243 but at 400 yds it performs like a 270. That is technology that previously never existed. When you have jacked up neck and shoulder issue but would still prefer to hunt for 30 more years the new technology is a blessing. Many older gents IMO have also discovered the beauty. The problem most people are having with the technology is there useing it incorrectly. I have seen people take a 147 eld and push it to 3200 fps and than complain about blowing the shoulder completely off of a critter. The reality is at 2700 fps out of a Creedmoor it does very nice things close or at 400 yds If you try to frame a house with a horseshoe hammer [bleep] is not going to go very well. Hammers are designed to be used for different situations and purposes. Use the correct hammer and use it the way it's intended to be used. Same goes for bullets Trystan

I LOVE their dies, their presses their brass and bullets. Fotis, I have recently been pleasantly surprised at the quality of there components. The RCBS concentricity gauge says very good things about Hornady Brass, Bullets, and how well there Dies work. For the Price I haven't found anything even close! Kind of reminds me of Lee Collett Dies, presses, and powder measures. Very inexpensive but kick ass! I must confess however that when I hunt critters larger that deer I tend to stray toward Nosler Bullets 😁 Trystan

Agree. Especially when you watch the video and see all the raised alloy/aluminum...

I would get a 22 creed 1:7..... But wait, that's what Big Stick recommends. His recommendations and knowledge are not ALL chit. Just his communication skills and his vitriolic attitude toward the whole human population. He seems to like me.

They’ve been great. I’m going to try more.

No, I'm not a Ruger bigot - just an unabashed fan of their revolvers, M77's and #1's.

I don't think the new release is a new cartridge but likely a new bullet.

I’ve enjoyed the 250 Savage Ackley Improved since 1983 when I finally quit talking about it and built one. Kind of a 25 Creedmoor without the fast twist. I’m guessing 25 Creedmoor and some long bullets to take advantage of a fast twist barrel.

Hey, the zombie bullets were good and they were cheaper than the red tips. I hope they bring'em back.
