High Standard Sentinel MKII & MKIII complete barrel assembly. This is the earlier "porkchop" design. The Sentinel was kind of a "store brand" Dan Wesson, and as such this assembly will work on the Dan Wesson line of revolvers as well.

Includes:
-Outer barrel shroud
-Barrel
-Barrel nut
-Front Sight
-Front Sight pin

This barrel does have some neglect damage from rust and some dents and dings, and that is reflected in the price. I completely stipped the parts inside and out to remove the rust and original finish, it basically just needs a beadblast/sandblast and a new finish, she'll probably never be pretty but she is cheap, and will perform exactly as well as a good looking one. Some pitting on the shroud remains, bore on barrel is near perfect except for one small shallow spot that will in no way affect performance and may polish out with a few cylinders of ammo. Would be a good cerakoat/duracoat project.

This barrel assy is for the earlier revolvers that had the alignment pin that was part of the cylinder crane. It will not work properly on the later models that had the alignment pin set in to the frame itself unless you drill the shroud to accept that alignment pin. If there are any questions please ask, basically if the shroud you have now looks like this one, it will go right on, if it doesn't have the leg that goes all the way to the bottom of the frame you'll need to do some minor gunsmithing.

$135.00 shipped.

That barrel looks as if it had been in a fire.

No fire, the gun was just very rusty externally overall when I got it (and the wood grips were still intact and not burnt and all springs still function as intended, not soft with no temper like they'd be if the gun were in a fire).

Functioned fine, just covered in heavy rust. I completely stripped off the bluing and rust w/ Evaporust, which left the mottled greyish tone to the metal that you see. Looked like it laid against something wet for a while (or maybe inside a soft case that got wet and sat for a long time), internal parts were perfect.
