The old Liberal "Create a problem to solve it later" is in full play. They will implement a PC law and then raise taxes to cover it later. A law like this will put law enforcement in danger.

Publicly funded looney bins will cut back on mass shootings. It proven right here.

Half these butt [bleep] are for some kind of gun control. You just need to find the group they feel doesn’t deserve the freedom they want for themselves.

My RE: was directed to High Noon. I support his understanding of this proposed law. I don't think that he is supporting new gun control laws.

Hence my post regarding Liberal/Progressive policy that has shuttered a great many of the mental institutions in this country, which is directly responsible for the gigantic number of mentally unstable individuals on our streets. You disparaged my comments, yet here you are repeating them.

There are those who believe contributing factors might include use of prescribed medicines for ADHD mixed in a cocktail with over usage of (hours and hours each day) gaming on devices. I wonder if a study on the correlation between any of these factors with the younger (and older?) shooters involved has seen the light of day?

That has absolutely nothing to do with it. It’s because the nanny state hasn’t opened enough hospitals to take in street bums.

These dumb [bleep] have no idea what you are talking about. Studies cloud their own dumb ass thoughts with facts.

You mean like Constitutional Carry and such? Or doesn't your State trust you enough for that yet?

liberals with both eyes shut just want America`s legally purchased firearms. what needs to be done is what the country of Israel has done in schools and maybe more ?mandatory student uniforms, teacher`s carry weapons and a gun, schools are locked down, maybe even some armed guards . and make it a law any gun violate crime public hanging in 2 weeks mandatory. lets bring back gun safety classes in all public schools for kids that have no mental problems. here in Minnesota trap is now a high school sport that these kids can letter in and at the state trap shoot summer of 2018 over 10,000 kids shot trap ,no person got hurt all were safe shooting trap shotguns and they had an excellent time. the way to fight gun violence is carry guns, make it known schools have armed guards and teachers carry, school is locked down during school hours ,students shall have uniforms,America can do more to help our youths in school and out of schools be safer ,maybe even a tower with a sniper on duty during school sessions ? America needs to wake up and protect our youth better.maybe get the National guard involved too at the schools ?

It’s not a firearm problem.....it’s a people problem. Not too many years ago firearms in the school ( shooting teams, ect.) and in many vehicles in the school parking lot, were commonplace. Yet.....we didn’t have school shootings. Society has created......through social media, the breakdown of the family structure, the loss of morals, the loss of Christianity in the schools and our lives, the blatant push of media, Hollywood, ect. to promote deviant behavior as normal is the “driving force” behind the majority of school shootings. Add to that the inability of a kid that is “bullied” to defend himself, while the bully is not held accountable for his actions.....not only at the school but by law enforcement outside the school environment. These kids are pushed over the edge mentally, and seek revenge on everyone, knowing that they will be “immortalized” in social media! The “drive” to become relevant, overcomes any “moral compass” that he/she may have. The removal of firearms is merely a band aide, attempting to solve a problem that is far larger than having the ability to kill one’s perceived tormentors! Until we fix society, mass murders will continue...be it with a home-made explosive, an automobile, knives ( remember school killings in China and Japan). The firearm is merely a tool of opportunity!

Suicides will not be affected by firearm removal. Anyone intent upon will use other means, drugs, a tall building/bridge, a concrete block and 10 feet of water, are only a few means of suicide that can’t be removed.

This law will be used by humans that will be driven by their own biases.....whether political, or a multitude of other driving factors. This is just another step in the abolishment of the 2nd. Ammendment and the ability to defend our Republic. memtb
