Nice. I have an original FN Supreme 30-06, the predecessor to the Browning. It has a classic styled stock and is very accurate. I took it to Namibia last year. Expect yours to shoot well. This my now retired elk hunting partners Browning. A 30-06 and the only rifle he owns. Many elk have dropped to a Core Lokt from it. Check out his original scope/mounts.

Agree. The ones going wrong aren’t using the 270 W.
It has a LONG successful history.

That’s not my opinion—- that's history.

A beautiful rifle Jorge. I'll be interested to hear how it shoots for you.

I bought a sporterized enfield 30-06 with that same scope and mount set up, the rifle hadn't been fired since the original owners son took it doe hunting in Pa. when he came home from Vietnam. I loaded up some rounds and it was still shooting right on.

to get out of the Gay Zone of the .270 you need to go up to the .275 Rigby....

Just got back from the range, tested 130gr Interlocks, ABs & TTSXs as well as 150 Nosler ABLRs.

130 TTSXs, Hornadys and 150 ABLRs shot right at .75" with the Hornadys and ABLRS shooting to the same POI and the TTSXs about 2" right. I really like the ABLRs so I'm thinking to go with those.

Ingwe already condemned me to smoking the proverbial turd in hell, especially since I also have a P-64 FWT in the same caliber smile

That's an intriguing setup, for sure, Jorge. Keep us posted on the range results.
