I lost this one...... on the Pacheco Ranch, Northeast NM, while on a bear hunt with Drummond Lindsey and Rick Menefee. ya! GWB That old timer suprised me, in how good it was. Maybe I just got lucky with a good lot of steel when I got mine, but it held an edge better than several of my more expensive knives have. I quit buying good, custom knives because I loose them like a virginity on prom night, and I SUCK ASS at sharpening. I am all about the havalon piranta now😀.

Fugged up the tail end of a nice Tejas d-back hide with one I bummed off a buddy who reps for Havalon. It was one of those little orange deals like you have there. Nothing's too sharp for caping.😀 I've got to the point where I only carry a fixed blade as a backup....I take care of everything from quartering to skinning with a piranta. Quail to moose, it works for me. Maybe not classy, but they're functional.
