After a meetup at a local watering hole to discuss boar hunting and turkey hunting and life's mysteries, two notorious Campfire lurkers decided to try out the gravy fries at a nearby eatery. I had the chili cheese fries with a side of goetta. My compatriot had the gravy cheese fries and a double-decker. I always scoffed at chili cheese fries, till I ate some!

I could eat them 3 meals a day.

Funny story about poutine. My brother has coached hockey ever since his boy started playing at 5 years old. When he was 12-13 they went to Denver for a tournament and one of the other kids on the team went with them. Long story short my brother took the boys out for a nice steak dinner and ordered poutine. The next game when they retuned to Omaha the mother of the kid came flying up to him, mad as hell,
asking what he told the boys they were eating. Seems her boy Rusty told his mom coach Cooper, Reed (my nephew) and him went out for steak and poon-tang. I still laugh about it.
