Dang, I don't know what that spikey plant-thingy is (we don't have that in northern Sweden!) but that is some NICE ironwood, and I love the lines of both of these knives, a Loveless or a good follower of his!

How about some more info on these two beauties, GWB?

While I await your answer, I will put on my drool bib so I don't short out my keyboard when you post...

You should make the trip for sure. You only live once and we never know when that last day is going to be. The Czech Republic is a Beautiful Country. I am not crazy about Prague it is dirty and not the pretties of cities I have been to in Europe. However get out of Prague and you are in some beautiful country in the Czech.

Many thanks GWB!

Now I'm really drooling over that Clay Alaska Skinner with the sheep horn scales too! I call dibs if you ever sell that one! I'd put that knife to work here in Sweden skinning about 7-10 moose per year.

Thanks to your info, I found TK Steingass' website LINK but it says "Order books are closed".

Perhaps that is just as well -- I don't think I could resist ordering at least one Steingass Loveless Dropped hunter style knife and now I really want a Clay Alaska Skinner too -- and my wallet won't easily permit that!

Geedubya, I thought my Grandfathers obsession with knives was bad. You without a doubt have the finest collection of knives I have seen ever.

Tailhold the boy sent off his setting this morning. Job is 2-3 miles from my front door step, the job is called “rehab”, shiitiest wood he’s been in, over 50% bear kill, said every other tree has been pealed at one point or another...
