Naturally, he posted these right AFTER I'd called-in to order the Four-X (wasting nearly 30 minutes of the phone dude's time with general buffoonery & kibitzing). I'm trying to assuage my angst with the notion that my forthcoming scope will have an illuminated reticle, whereas the Aretemi (Artemissesses???) do not. I think the Burris is lighter, too.

Then again, I could (as usual) be all wet. it's a good thing I'm always wearing swim trunkx.

Perhaps Doug can weigh in, & sort us all out.

Yes Burris has the illuminated #4 and lighter. I just wonder the glass difference. I’ve owned both Meopta and Burris.

Please keep in mind the Meopta Artemis is a FFP reticle which will make a difference to some. I think optically the Meopta is ever so slightly superior, however, it is a little heavier and an FFP not SFP scope + the Burris is an illuminated reticle

Well, too late for me! Ordered the Burris Four X yesterday. Neal was very helpful on the phone. Cheers, S.

How would the glass on the Artemis 2000 1.5-6x42 compare to a Leupold VX 3 2.5-8 x 36? I need to scope a .375 Ruger

The glass in the Artemis is the same as in a Meopro which IMO is superior to the VX3. It's the same glass that was in the Zeiss Conquest's

2 with the #4
9 with the #1

Eye relief specs do seem a bit tight on these. Anyone have experience with them?
