I still got over 100 lbs of ground elk in the freezer and meatloaf is easy on my choppers!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I like seasoned salt, ketchup and a slice of American cheese on my white bread meat loaf sandwiches.
Wife always makes two loafs when she cooks.....so we have enough for sandwiches.

120 grams of 99% fat free ground turkey
100 grams of carrots
100 grams of squash and jalapeno peppers
10 grams of extra virgin olive oil

We had a couple of small burgers w/o buns, Swiss on mine and cheddar on hers, and split a six pack of cream cheese filled bacon wrapped jalapeno peppers. Mine washed with a martini, hers a glass of Chardonnay.
Conduct is the best proof of character.

Wife cooked hamburgers tonight.
First package of burger from the beef we finished on barley.
Had her butchered a month ago.
Cooked in cast iron.
Pretty dang good. I reckon the burger is 70% at most.

Yes. We dont often finish a heifer. She was a first calf heifer that did not breed. Had good frame size. The butcher saved the heart, tongue and tail for me. He thinks I am a weirdo now..... The Mexican restaurant near the town where the butcher works got screwed out of a free beef tongue!

Supposed to be good on sandwiches. I know I'm something of a gut eater, but there are few things better than a pickled tongue sandwich. Good rye with spicy mustard, a bit of sauerkraut (the home made stuff, not the jarred crap), thinly sliced red onion and a beer. Or three.
