23# 1.25" spurs and 3 beards totaling 28.25" I have watched this bird for 3 years he always had lots of hens and jakes so never able to get him to work. Yesterday I caught him by himself and he worked perfectly. I was using one of my glass over glass pot calls and a dogwood striker.

OH NO MAN!!! You done killed Foghorn Leghorn!!!!

Outstanding bird. I had the questionable privilege of calling a similar size wize whitebird to within 60 yards or so while hunting with my then youth season eligible son. Got him to cross a creek but he hung up on a flat up the bank and just refused to come closer. We saw him a few other times during both deer and turkey seasons and at least have him as a memory. Congrats on your success.

That's nice!! In all my years of turkey hunting, I've only seen one albino, and it was a hen. That's the bird of a lifetime.

Congrats. Makes your season for sure

What’s the story? True albino eyes and all ? Domestic genes in wild bird?

Definitely not smoke color phase it appears as the key is bars being present on wings and tail( at least that’s what wildlife biologist told me about smoke phase I called in for friend couple years ago).

Not trying to drag this down, curious is all. Happy for you

So lady luck shines on me again. Was looking for a taxidermist an called blackwing turkeys from Florida. He told me he was in Springfield mo only an hour from me, at the world taxidermist championship an would take my bird back to have mounted. He has won multiple competitions
