That’s kinda cool! Wish they’d quit putting on those big ugly ass plastic front sights on them though 🤮

Interesting that they've finally removed the large extension from the Super Redhawk frame. This particular model isn't my cup of tea but knowing Ruger they will hopefully come out with variations on that frame. Wonder if this is the first step in retiring the standard Redhawk?

I seriously doubt Ruger would retire the original Redhawk.

$1,500 for an ugly assed gun? No!
I'd rather die in a BAD gunfight than a GOOD nursing home.

That barrel looks awful. I didn't like that effect of the 22/45 Lite, and it looks even worse on a revolver.
Easy pass.

650 to much. I don’t like the cuts. But 8 shots is intriguing.

Don’t like the cuts but will say I wish Ruger had done the “Super Redhawk” the right way the first time around. The huge heavy/bulky frame extension out front was a crappy idea resulting in an overly heavy bulky revolver than no longer could be carried in a normal holster. What the “Super Redhawk” should have been, was to the GP-100 type action with separate hammer mainspring and trigger return springs and grip-frame (they got that part right) but the older standard Redhawk barrel profile. Basically a scaled up version of the GP-100 w/o the full underlug barrel.

Somebody at Ruger got double-dog-dared.

That's the ugliest boat anchor that Ruger has produced so far. And that's saying something!

A guy has a stainless 4.2" in the classifieds for trade or sale for 700 bucks. I like it! But Rugers are heavy, so may not be the best thing to carry all day.

Well, it's kind of an interesting looking gun, I'll give it that. I think if I want an 8 shot .357, however, I'll stick with my Smith and Wesson Performance Center 627.
