I'm accustomed to paying about a hundred dollars for a good gun belt for concealed carry. Good tool belts are about as rigid and heavy duty, but at near a quarter the price. Just shoe polish it whatever shade of black or brown you want.

I bought one of those years ago. It's still in my footlocker, unused. As you say, it seemed like a good buy.

This basketweave belt is VERY thick, and is great for supporting even heavy frame handguns.

Got one over a year ago, and am damned impressed.

$44

I'm more into quality and handsome looks for a belt that I wear out in public.

$100 for a quality/handsome belt that lasts is worth it to me.

If you want a good, heavy leather belt, have one made to order by one of the tack shops in horse country.

They don't give them away, but you can get a nice one for about $50.

One example:

Where the hell are you paying $100.00 for gun belts? I have at least a half-dozen belts from The Wilderness and 5.11 that I doubt I paid much over $50.00 for and most I got for a lot less because they were on sale.

This is the gun belt I've been buying and wearing for about 25 years. I think I'm on my third right now.
