It already has a spicy hot thousand island like dressing on it.
Hard to see it as I got carried away with the Spicy Doritos.

And this is not a cilantro happy dish. Think 1970's Taco Bell flavor profile. For the purists this is more like a deconstructed Taco Salad of yesteryear when everything was mixed together at the end. So seasoned browned ground beef with 1 large onion. McCormicks taco seasoning one packet per pound. Iceberg lettuce tomatoes black olives Tillamook Sharp cheddar Avocados Doritos Spicy Nacho chips Spicy thousand island dressing or Spicy Catalina Dressing. ![[Linked Image]](http://i64.tinypic.com/o8gbgl.jpg)

We made taco salads for dinner tonight. Wife throws Catalina on hers, I throw Taco Bell Fire on mine.

atv the wife uses a Thousand Island recipe from the Better Homes and Garden cookbook, leaves out pickles and adds in different chile sauces. This last time time she used Tapatio sauce. She has used in the past, chili garlic paste, sriracha and chipotle.

If you get a chance have her make an original 1970's version but use romain as it holds up better.
Also in the version I posted above butter lettuce is good in lieu of iceburg and chopped green onions over the top as well.

All I could picture while I was eating it was the taco assembly line and all of the broken tacos and burrito scraps being pushed off the prep counter and into the box...homemade next time for sure.
